A delicious baked doughnut recipe made easy by starting with butter pecan cake mix
Pre-heat oven to 425. Prepare doughnut pans with cooking spray.
Combine all ingredients for cake in large mixing bowl. Stir until blended.
Spoon batter into prepared pans.
Bake for 10 minutes. Check. Add up to 2 additional minutes if needed.
Remove from pans and place on a wire rack to cool for 5 minutes.
Chop pecans and set aside.
Combine all half and half, butter, vanilla, and milk using an electric mixer until smooth. Add more milk if needed.
Place cooling rack with doughnuts on top of a baking sheet.
Spoon glaze over each doughnut.
Sprinkle with chopped pecans or sugar sprinkles.
Store in an airtight container.
