Dark Chocolate and Peppermint Meltaways

Easy and quick to make, these dark chocolate and peppermint meltaways are a delicious treat for holiday gift bags or parties.

Ingredients

  • 2 10 oz bags Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate Melting Wafters Melted
  • 1/2 tsp Peppermint Extract Add more to taste if desired
  • Candy Garnish Optional

Instructions

  1. Follow directions on package to melt the wafers in the microwave.

  2. Add peppermint extract to melted chocolate and stir.

  3. Spoon mixture into candy molds and use a scraper to go over the molds to remove the excess chocolate. 

  4. Add crushed peppermint or Christmas Holly Mix Sprinkles to each mold. 

  5. Allow candy to set for 10 to 15 minutes before popping each piece out of the mold.
