Need some last minute, quick and easy Halloween Decor? This Witch’s Broom is an easy way to add a touch of Halloween to your lawn or porch. It can be made in just a few minutes with only a few items.
A few years ago, I bought two black brooms to use for Halloween decor. I crossed one over the other and added some hot glue to keep them in place. The burnt orange ribbon is wrapped around the brooms and tied off into a knot with long tail pieces. I tied the ribbon into a bow on the front side and adding several more smaller pieces of ribbon for the loops.
To give the brooms a fuller look, I used two pieces of deco mesh ribbon. I cut the pieces with one being slightly longer than the other. Each piece of ribbon is folded together to meet in the back. I twisted a small piece of pipe cleaner around the center of each piece.
I used clear fishing line to attached the mesh ribbon to the back of the brooms.
Last year, I tied the brooms to a lamp post in my yard and placed a black cauldron next to it. This year, the lamp post got a ghostly makeover, so I’m going to tie the brooms to my mailbox post on Halloween.
This only took about ten minutes to put together and it was very budget friendly, too.
