Whiskey Cocktail with Berries and Basil
For this Whiskey Cocktail, you’ll need basil leaves, strawberries, tonic, and whiskey. Don’t you love the liquor label on the decanter? I gave a set of silver ones to her last year for her pretty liquor decanters.
Muddle the strawberries and add basil leave. Continue to muddle them together in a large cup.
Add in whiskey and ice and stir until well blended.
Strain into a cocktail glass and add ice. Add a splash of tonic water and garnish with a fresh strawberry.

- Tonic Water
- Basil Leaves
- Cocktail Strainer
- Cocktail Stirrer
- Cup to use when muddling
- Whiskey Glass
Whiskey Cocktail with Basil and Berries
A refreshing blend of whiskey, basil leaves, and fresh strawberries.
- 3 Shots Whiskey
- 4 Basil Leaves (muddled)
- 6 Very Ripe Strawberries (muddled)
- 1 splash Tonic Water
Remove stems from strawberries.
Muddle strawberries and basil leaves in a large cup.
Stir in whiskey and ice.
Strain into a cocktail glass. Add ice and a splash of tonic water.
Garnish with a fresh strawberry.
