Finding a tiered tray that fits your home decor style is easy since they are made in so many different designs. Amazon has an assortment of them that work great for multiple occasions. I often see them at home stores like TJ Maxx or Home Goods and they are reasonably priced there.
Easter Tiered Tray

This white porcelain tiered tray is one that I bought on Amazon not long ago and I’ve used it for a Valentine’s Day Tiered Tray with DIY Accents and for a St. Patrick’s Day Tiered Tray Unfortunately, it’s only listed as available in black currently.

I’ve had these flat wood eggs for several years that I bought unfinished. Using three of them, I painted them pink and blue. You could also cut your own using heavy cardstock instead of thin wood.

Dollar Tree flowers are great to use for projects like this. While they might not be the best for centerpieces, cutting the stems from them and using just the bloom is a budget friendly way to add florals to any piece. Use floral wire cutters to snip off the stem just below the bloom.

Gather any small Easter items that you have that you think would work for the Easter tiered tray. Most of these items are Dollar Tree purchases. I didn’t use all of these, but it’s good to have a variety of items to choose from.

Place the items on the tiers of the tray and arrange them to have visual balance that is appealing to you. There is no right or wrong way to add the items you’re using. You’ll want to try several different looks until you’re happy with it.

Containers are good to use on tiered trays to hold similar items. I have two sizes of these egg shaped bowls that I’m using on mine to hold speckled eggs. If you have small baskets they would work great, too.

If you want a colorful Easter tray, make sure that the colors coordinate and they you spread them out over the tiers. You might prefer to use muted tones for a farmhouse look. I’d recommend a galvanized tray for that look.

For the top of a three tiered tray I like to add pieces with some height. The painted wood eggs are just right for this spot.

Add in some Easter grass that works great as filler. I placed some beneath these Dollar Tree yarn carrots and on a few other spots on the tray.

Don’t limit yourself to only Easter pieces, add in some spring decor items, too. A bird on a nest, maybe a rainbow, or painted wood chip flowers all work well.

Once you have all of the decor pieces in positions that you are happy with, step back and have a look at the tray. Find the empty spots and add in faux floral blooms as filler.

Have you seen the carrot jump ropes at Dollar Tree? I’ve seen them there every Easter season. I bought these a few years ago and detached the carrots from the rope. Using a combination of ivory, peach, and brown paints, I changed the look of the plastic carrots from bright orange to a more muted tone. I used these is a simple Wood Basket with a Painted Bunny.

Decorating a tiered tray for seasonal or holiday decor doesn’t need to be expensive. Use what you have on hand and add to it with purchases from the dollar store. You’ll have a one of a kind decor piece that’s sure to look great as a centerpiece or on a tabletop.
