Putting together a summer brunch tablescape was a fun way to combine some vintage pieces, dollar store crafts, and items I had on hand.

I always enjoy using my vintage Iris Herringbone pieces. For this summer table setting, I’m using a candle holder, sugar and creamer set, glasses, and fruit bowls. The lace table runner belonged to my mother.
The mini bud vases were easy to make using dollar store items, shells, and twine. This were super simple to make and I love how they look with this tablescape.
I’ve had a set of four lighthouse place settings for about 15 years. This time, I’m using only the bread plates. They are layered on top of dollar store white dinner plates and neutral napkins.
Vintage fruit bowls complete the look.
Along with the lighthouse place settings, I’ve had a set of stone lighthouse coasters for years. I don’t use them often, but they are a nice addition to this tablescape.
In addition to using the lighthouse bread plates, I’ve added the coffee cups, too.
By combining vintage dishes with dollar store items, you can create a unique look for an inviting summer brunch tablescape.

Thrift stores are great for finding vintage dishes. I’ve been collecting Iris Herringbone pattern by Jeannette Glass Company for years and I’ve found lots of pieces at thrift stores and vintage booths at antique malls. Occasionally, I’ll supplement my collection with items that can be found on Etsy.
