Even though it’s not feeling a bit like fall here in Charleston, I’ve brought out my fall decor. One of the first things I like to decorate for each season is our mantel and hearth.
Styling a Fall Mantel & Hearth

I used lots of dollar store items to keep this decor budget friendly. The flowers are all from Dollar Tree. I removed the stems from the flowers before placing them on the mantel. The same neutral pumpkins are also from Dollar Tree. I’ve had the coral pillar candles for a couple of years and bring them out each fall.

Creating two pumpkin topiaries to anchor the mantel was another dollar store project. I shared the easy tutorial for how to make them recently.

I used blue tapered candles that go well with the topiaries. I have them in crystal holders with a small piece of coral ribbon tied around the base.

Having a fireplace in Charleston isn’t very practical, but lots of homes here have them for those few weeks a year that a fire is nice. It does make for a nice place to add decor when not in use. The dough bowl is one I found at Goodwill a few years ago. Last year, just as fall was ending, I also found the large pumpkin at Goodwill.

The coral and blue that I used on the mantel was inspired by these painted pumpkins and painted tray DIY project.
The grapevine wreath on the mirror is simple since I used lots of items on the mantel.
