Putting together a St. Patrick’s Day Tablescape doesn’t need to be fancy or elaborate. Using lots of items I had on hand, some dollar store purchases, plus a few DIY decor pieces all combined to make this festive table setting for March.

I love putting together tablescapes and St. Patrick’s Day is a holiday that lends itself to a fun array of decorative pieces. One of the best parts of creating holiday tablescapes, is using items that I already have and finding ways to use them for a new look.

I’ve used dollar store scarves for table runners before and when I spotted these shamrock scarves in various shades of green, I knew they would work well for the look I had in mind.
For each place setting, I used mostly items I already had. I layered a burlap covered charger, a white dinner plate, a green salad plate, and a crystal dessert plate. The green salad plates were the only new purchase. I found those at the Dollar Tree. Each setting is topped off with tan napkins and my DIY Shamrock Napkin Rings.
I had been eyeing a set of copper flatware for a while and I was happy to have received them as a gift at Christmas. (Thanks, Gloria!) I have two sets of four services each now and I love them.
I added a couple of cute leprechauns and my DIY Candle Holder Makeover to the center of the table. The glasses were Dollar Tree purchases last year and the coasters were ones that I used for Gloria’s 30th Birthday Party using Rose Gold Decor.
I always enjoy using pitchers as vases. This particular one was my mother’s and it’s another of those items that I brought home with me after she moved out of her place and in with my sister. I love the yellow flowers on the pitcher. The silk flowers were purchased last year on sale at Michaels.
Do you have fun plans for St. Patrick’s Day? I’d love to hear about them in the comments!
