Rose gold birthday party decor is a lovely look for any birthday. I added some diy projects along with a few Cricut projects to tie it all together. Mixing rose gold with other shades of gold all combined for a special birthday tablescape for Gloria’s 30th birthday.
The idea for using a rose gold themed started when Gloria spotted these large number balloons while she was at Party City a few months ago. Every year for her birthday, she gives me ideas of what color scheme she would like.
I procrastinated a little in ordering some of the rose gold items I wanted from Amazon and when I tried to order them, there was a delay due to Hurricane Florence. That meant I had to do some improvising and include some other gold tones into the mix. I started with a pretty table cloth and added some rose gold ribbon near each end and at the center of the table.
Using my Cricut for party decor has become a favorite way to craft for me. This Cheers to 30 years sign is made using a thrift store find plaque, sparkly card stock and decorative tape. Gloria has a special affinity for feathers, so instead of using some table scatter, I used gold dipped feathers that I purchased from Michaels.
I found the three and zero at Party City. They were a very bright shiny gold that didn’t match the softer tones of the decor. I pealed the gold part off of the foam and painted them with some mauve craft paint I had on hand. I added some gold glitter paint to give them a little sparkle. I added a few rose gold floral picks to the flowers.
As I was placing the flowers in the vase, a few of the buds broke away. Rather than discarding them, I added them to a tiny bud vase and put it at Gloria’s place setting.
To dress up a wine glass, I wrapped a beaded bracelet that I found at Michaels around the stem. A couple of strips of decorative tape and a gold bow finish off the look.
The chargers are ones that I’ve had for several years. I decided to opt for easy clean up and used disposable plates and flatware. I found the rose gold flatware at Party City. For the coasters, I cut circles from sheets of foam that I bought at Michaels. The monogrammed G napkins were purchased at Tuesday Morning. I placed them on top of cloth napkins for looks, not so much for use.
Another fun Cricut project was this 30 and Fabulous Sign. I used an old gold frame, card stock and vinyl to make this for the buffet.
The wine cart was dressed up with some faux flowers and another small Cricut sign. The rose gold straws are from Party City. A bottle of Rosé was a gift to Gloria, and it looks pretty on the cart.
Gloria looks pretty happy with her rose gold birthday party! I might be a little bit biased, but I think she is truly 30 and Fabulous!Plan a Rose Gold 30th Birthday Party with diy touches and fun party decor. #rosegoldparty #birthdaypartydecor #30thbirthdayparty Click To Tweet
