Each year, Gloria and I give each other a themed birthday party. We don’t think anyone is ever too old to have themed decor for their birthdays! This year, Gloria put together a Peacock themed party for my birthday last week. She combined lots of colorful elements to create a beautiful tablescape. I absolutely loved it!
Peacock Party Tablescape
The lovely glass bottles were purchased at Michaels. They were the perfect combination of the gorgeous colors of peacocks and served as the pieces around which Gloria created a lovely Peacock Party Tablescape.
Some of the feathers were also purchased at Michaels, some were ordered from Amazon.
The dinner and cocktail napkins added more colorful decor. The small ones were ordered from Amazon and the larger ones were purchased at Party City.
The centerpiece is a beautiful combination of a peacock feather wreath and a bouquet of brightly colored flowers. The wreath was purchased at Michaels and the flowers from Publix. Yes, the grocery store!
Gloria placed the wreath on the table, added some feathers to the bouquet and placed the vase in the center of the wreath.
All of this combined created a gorgeous, bright, fun birthday tablescape!
The glasses are a perfect match. I found those recently at Dollar Tree. I’m planning on using them for my coastal fall decor, but they fit in great with the peacock theme.
I also want to show you the cake. Gloria has been terribly busy at work, so she opted to buy a cake, but she found edible peacock feathers from Amazon that she added to it. Aren’t these pretty? It’s a great way to dress up a cake!
One of the great things about this decor theme is that I’m planning a makeover for my office/craft room. I decided to redo it using peacock colors. Knowing this, Gloria found several pieces that she used for the tablescape that I can also use for the room makeover. That’s a win!
We party with some awesome bloggers. We’ll be sharing at lots of these great parties!
