I’ve put the finishing touches on our Patriotic Coastal Tablescape. I love incorporating coastal touches throughout our decor and seasonal tablescapes are always fun to put together. Some easy diy projects and lots of red, white, and blue come together for a fun Patriotic Tablescape with Coastal Flair.
One of my favorite parts of this year’s patriotic tablescape is the addition of these small buckets. I bought these at the Dollar Tree last year and added some patriotic stickers to each of them. I thought they would be a great way to mimic beach sand pails. I first thought about filling them with craft sand and adding some tiny shells, but when I spotted the red, white, and blue M&Ms, I thought our guests would appreciate candy more than sand!
I decided to use the sand and shells for a couple of small candle holders. I bought these at Goodwill quite a while ago. They were silver, so I gave them a quick coat of copper spray paint to fit in with my decor. I added a LED candle to both holders and finished them off with a starfish.
I made a set of Star fish coasters last year. They go great with my patriotic tablescape.
The patriotic coastal centerpiece I shared recently is a colorful and easy way to bring in more of the coastal look. The painted shells stand out along with the starfish.
Making patriotic coastal napkin rings is an easy diy project that only takes minutes to make.
For each place setting, I used a burlap charger, a white dinner plate, a smaller blue plate, a red bread plate, and a flag pattern dessert plate. That’s a lot of plates, but I love the look of the combined colors. These are topped with a white napkin with the coastal ring.
I had everything on hand to put my Patriotic Coastal Tablescape together, so there were no new dollars spent. That’s always a win!
