Adding some color to clear glass vases found at a thrift shop adds just the right spring time feel. My inspiration for this came from this pinterest find which looked simple and it absolutely is.
I’ve had these vases for a while and they were stored away, just waiting for something like this to give them new life.

Supplies Used for Painted Bud Vases
Clear Vases
Acrylic Paint in Various Pastel Colors
Absorbing Towel
Pour paint into the vase and twirl it around until it fully coats all parts of the vase. I used acrylic paint because it spreads so easily and I don’t plan on using water in these vases.
Turn the vase upside down and allow any excess paint to drip out. I placed them upside down on a towel for a couple of minutes and then returned them upright and allowed them to dry.

I added some silk flower stems to finish off the look. That’s it! How easy is that? Springtime décor~cute, easy and quick!
Each of these vases cost .25 at a local thrift store. Acrylic paint is super cheap, too. The silk blooms were ones I already had, but they can be found at a dollar store, keeping the total cost at only a few dollars.
