Welcome to week number fifteen in our One Good Thing Series. Each Friday, we will be choosing one good thing from the week prior to highlight. While lots of good things can be found throughout the week, this is a place to spotlight one in particular. It might be something as simple as a great meal we had or a blog post that inspired us. It could be something awesome that happened in our lives or in the world around us. It might be something related to our blog. Some will be from Gloria and some from Beverly. They will all be short snippets of what made us stop and think “Well, that was a good thing!”
We would love to have others share their own One Good Thing.
This week’s One Good Thing is all about family. Last Friday, we visited our oldest son and his family for a four day weekend. Gloria was also there. That meant that I got to spend Mother’s Day with two of my three children. Our other son, who lives across the country, was busy welcoming a new baby girl into the world on Saturday!
We also attended my nephew’s wedding in the beautiful north Georgia mountains. The views were spectacular and it was great seeing him and my nieces and my brother.
Spending time with family was the very best Mother’s Day gift.
What was your One Good Thing this week? We would love to hear from you!
We hope you have a great week ahead.
