After spending last week working on various projects for my fall mantel decor, I’ve put all the pieces together and I’m pretty happy with how it came together. I love the colors of fall. The oranges, browns, deep reds and greens all give out such warmth. Warmth is not something we are lacking right now, but when the first cool breeze of fall arrives, I’ll be ready to welcome it with my fall mantel and fireplace.
A couple of Dollar Tree ceramic pumpkins and some green pillar candles finished off the look.
I placed the twine covered vase with stems on the hearth and filled a wire basket with lots of faux pumpkins, gourds, and pinecones. Coral and brown candles and a large green R initial were all things I use in other spots in my house. It’s fun to just shop around your own home for items, not to mention it’s the most economical way, too!
I especially love that when I started making items for my fall decor, I wasn’t committed to any one particular look. It wasn’t until I began making things that the look took shape. After that, I was able to add in little details that helped to pull it all together.
