A Happy Fall Y’all Cutting Board Made Using Cricut is an easy and inexpensive project. Turning a plain cutting board into a fall decor item is an easy way to add some fall decor to your kitchen. I found a cutting board at the Dollar Spot at Target recently. It was one of those items that I bought, not knowing just how I would use it.
How to Make a Happy Fall Y’all Cutting Board Made Using Cricut
Supplies Used:
- Cutting Board from Target Dollar Spot
- Vinyl Sheets
- Transfer Paper
- Cricut tools for cutting and weeding
I love finding items that can be used for crafts at Target. With prices ranging from $1 to $5, I almost always spot something that I can use. This small cutting board was $3 and just the right size for a decor item.
I’m enjoying learning more about how to use my Cricut Air Explore 2 and this cutting board was a great surface for a vinyl project. I’m using lots of bold colors this year in my kitchen and breakfast nook area for fall. The thrift store tray makeover for a centerpiece adds a pop of color to the space. I decided to use more bright colors for the cutting board.
I searched Cricut Design Space for pumpkin images and found a two layer one that I liked. I sized them to fit the cutting board using Cricut Design space.
I did the same for leaves. I cut some using orange vinyl and some using a deep yellow.
I get lost in the fonts while using Design Space. Between the Cricut fonts and my system font, there are a lot to choose from. For the cutting board, I used Peignot Std Light.
Once the pumpkins layers were weeded, I used transfer paper to add them to the cutting board. I added a trio of orange leaves and some larger deep gold ones.
Is it too early for Happy Fall Y’all decor? Maybe so, but we’ve had a couple of days with temperatures in the 80s, so it’s close enough to fall for me!

That is super cute!! I would buy myself a Cricut if I thought I would have the time to use it. If I didn’t bake so much! Thank you so much for sharing this with us at the Whimsical Wednesdays Link Party! 😀

Thank you, Michele and thanks for the party each week. It does take some time COMMITMENT to create with a cricut, but I’m enjoying it.

Thanks, Bev! I appreciate the feature! I didn’t make it to last week’s party because we were in the midst of evacuating from the storm. I couldn’t focus on anything! I’ll be sure to stop by this week for the party though.
