I’ve mentioned that I prefer fun and just a little spookiness for Halloween. Last year, for our party, we used orange, purple, and green decor items. We wanted to create a drink that would match. Gloria made this Halloween Rum Punch that was a tasty addition to our party.
This Halloween punch can be made as a kid friendly drink or as a cocktail. At my house, since there are no kids, it’s made as Halloween Rum Punch.
It only takes a few ingredients to make and it’s quick and easy.
Ingredients for Halloween Run Punch
Hawaiian Punch -Ocean Orange (chilled)
Orange Soda (chilled)
White Rum (Sprite, 7Up, or Ginger Ale for non alcoholic version)
To Make Individual Servings:
Add Hawaiian Punch to cocktail shaker 3/4 full
Add one shot Rum
Shake to blend
Pour mixture into glass
Add orange soda to fill the glass
Top with a scoop of sherbet
To make group servings:
Add 1 Part Soda to 2 Parts Hawaiian Punch to a large punch bowl
Add 1/2 Sprite,Ginger Ale or 7-Up to bowl
Scoop Sherbet onto the top

As with any beverage that is mixed with soda, it’s best if served right away. If refrigerated, the soda will likely go flat quickly, altering the taste.
