I love all the things you can do with clear glass or plastic ornaments. One of the easiest is to simply fill the ornament with something pretty or fun. Another is to add embellishments to the outside of the ornament. I made several different styles. The possibilities for these ornaments is really limited only by your imagination.
DIY Clear Christmas Ornaments
I needed something fluffy and red to fill this one. After looking around, I found a stocking bought sometime in the past that wasn’t being used for anything. I cut it into squares and poked the squares into the ornament using a wooden dowel. I wrapped a black ribbon around the ornament for the belt and glued it in place. I cut the buckle out of gold and red glitter paper and used a dab of hot glue to secure it. The top of the ornament is covered with ribbon and I added a loop for hanging.
Dots and Initial
There are tons of ideas for giving some holiday cheer to these ornaments. These are just a few of my favorites. What kinds of things have you tried?
