Ribbon Shamrock Pins
I pulled out an assortment of green ribbon that I have in my craft stash. I decided against using the shamrock ribbon for these pins.
You’ll need ribbon, scissors, hot glue, and a bead to make a Shamrock Ribbon Pin.
Cut three pieces of ribbon. Two will be the same length and one is longer. The length depends upon how large or small you want the pin to be.
Loop the two smaller pieces and hot glue the ends.
Trim the excess ribbon below the hot glue.
Place the two loops together and hot glue the points of them to each other.
Make another loop with the larger ribbon.
Glue the larger loop to the center of the two smaller loops.
I cut a tiny piece of felt and glued a brooch pin back to it and then glued the felt to the back of the ribbon.
Snip off one of the tails of the longer ribbon, leaving one to mimic the stem of the shamrock.
Repeat the same steps as above using a thin ribbon that it a different shade of green than the first ribbon. Hot glue a bead to the center.
Hot glue the thin ribbon to the larger ribbon. Use jewelry pliers to pull off the strands of hot glue.
