I love adding pretty napkin rings to my seasonal tablescapes. They can be easy to make and inexpensive.
DIY Napkin Rings from Dollar Store Items

This is one of those projects that is super easy and anyone can make them in minutes. Dollar Tree often has some great choices of ribbon. I love this burlap ribbon with the lace overlaid on the center.

This is wired ribbon so it’s easy to shape. You’ll have the best results if you also choose wired ribbon. Cut the ribbon into six inch strips.

Curl the ribbon into a circle and run a line of hot glue on the inside. Make sure to wear finger protectors to avoid burns from the hot glue.

Once you’ve pressed the ends of the loop together with the glue, add a simple embellishment with twine.

Cut the twine into small pieces that will fit across the seam of the napkin ring. Glue the twine over the seam where the two pieces are glued together.

Add a small dot of hot glue inside of the napkin ring and tuck the excess twine into the glue.

Cut more small pieces of twine and tie into bows. Glue the bows with a small dot of hot glue to the center of the napkin rings.

I used a simple accordion fold for my napkins. Once folded, slip the napkins inside of the rings. Considering how simple and inexpensive these are to make, I think they are a pretty addition to my Thanksgiving table setting.

Don’t you love the small plates that say “Grateful?” I didn’t find them at a dollar store, but they were less than $3.00 each at Walmart. They match my napkins and napkins rings perfectly.
