I’ve seen these boards made with tomatoes and pita bread, but for our family, cheese, pepperoni, and crackers are always a part of our appetizer buffet.
Festive Cheese, Crackers, and Pepperoni Tray

I used Ritz crackers for this. Any round cracker will work fine. Sliced pepperoni and Swiss cheese go with the crackers. To cut the slices of cheese into rounds, I looked for a small cutter in my kitchen. I didn’t find one that was small enough, but I did spot my copper napkin rings. They are the perfect size and it easily cut through two slices of cheese at a time.
Sometimes, you have to improvise!

The cutting board is lined with crackers in a candy cane shape. Each cracker is topped with a slice of pepperoni and a cheese round.

I arranged them by off centering the top layer. You can make this as large as you’d like by continuing to stack and arrange.

Add extra crackers, cheese, and pepperoni to the board and either make your own spread or use a store bought one. I used Philadelphia chive and onion spread.
