This is an old recipe that has been around for ever. There are quite a few variations of it, but I’m sharing my favorite and one I’ve been making for decades! My family looks at me kind of strangely when I eat this with a meal, but it goes great with a holiday turkey or ham to me. It is really sweet, so serving it as a dessert works, too.

Love this! Its my third time makinG this recipe. Can this be frozen? We are having a smaller gathering and i know we wont ear it all.

I’m glad you like it! I’ve never tried freezing it. I’m not sure that the marshmallows would hold up well if frozen and then thawed. I always have left overs and it keeps several days in the refrigerator. If it gets less solid than I like, I just add a little cool whip to it.
