We recently realized that we haven’t shared any of Gloria’s wonderful cocktails on the blog. There’s no time like the present to change that! Gloria is our go to bartender whenever we want to try a new cocktail. She has created some wonderfully delicious ones over the years. This one, is one of her latest concoctions. If you love watermelon and sparkling wine, this one is for you!
I couldn’t resist taking a quick photo of Gloria while she was serving as our bartender at a recent family get together. You have to love a bartender with a big smile!
To make this cocktail, you’ll only need a few ingredients because you’ll start with a mixer.
Ingredients~
Master of Mixers Watermelon Daiquiri / Margarita Mixer
Vodka
Shots of Champagne or Sparkling Wine (Moscato d’Asti)
Cosmopolitan Sugar Rimmer
Directions~
Rim a glass with the Cosmo Rimmer
Add 3 shots of vodka, 5 shots of mixer and ice cubes to a cocktail shaker.
Shake thoroughly.
Pour into glass and top with 3 shots of Champagne or Moscato d’Asti.
Add a cute straw and stir gently.
This is such an easy cocktail to make by using a mixer. You could switch out the vodka with rum if you prefer. The Moscato d’Asti is the perfect way to add to the flavor of the drink.
I know all of the particulars about not referring to anything as champagne unless it comes from the Champagne region in France, but really, Sparkling Wine Cocktail just doesn’t have the same ring to it as Champagne Cocktail!
It’s a refreshing drink and just look how pretty it is!
We’re hoping to make Gloria’s Cocktail Recipes a regular feature on the blog because you know, we can’t spend all of our time crafting, upcycling, and doing furniture makeovers! Cheers!
We party with some awesome bloggers. We’ll be sharing this at lots of these great parties.

We love using mixers. They take a lot of trial and error out of making some of the fruity cocktails. Thanks for the party, Mollie!
