I’m putting together a fun St. Patrick’s Day tablescape and these mini steins are perfect for a candy favor for each place setting. Adding stickers, ribbons, and candy give them a festive touch for the holiday. These definitely fall into the quick and easy category!
I found these little jars at the Dollar Tree in their glassware section. They have lids on them and some can be used as shakers. When I was shopping there for St. Patrick’s day items, I didn’t see them as as shakers. I saw them as mini beer steins and thought they would make cute candy favors.
Candy Favor Mini Steins for St. Patrick’s Day
This is such a simple idea that doesn’t need any instructions, but I wanted to share it to pass along the idea of a fun way to use the shakers. I added a shamrock sticker to both the front and back of each jar.
A simple green bow is tied on at the top of the handle.
I used Rolos, but any gold wrapped or even multi colored candy would be great. Green and white M&Ms would be fun to use, too.
That’s it! Sometimes, simple little projects can be the best ones!
For under $5 and a total of less than 10 minutes, I’ve added some fun and tasty decor to my St. Patrick’s Day tablescape.
Do you do much decorating for St. Patrick’s Day? I’m doing more this year and I’m having fun coming up with fun ideas for the holiday.
