Happy Fall! Now that it’s officially fall, I’m ready to decorate all over. That includes my outdoor decor. Last year, I repurposed an old bird bath into a fairy garden. When I saw fall themed fairy pieces, I knew I wanted to give it a fall makeover. I used some of the pieces that already had and added in several new fall pieces. This Fall Fairy Garden is a fun way to welcome fall!
This is how it’s been looking since last summer. I’ve enjoyed it, but I’m going to love changing it up seasonally. Visit my Bird Bath Fairy “Garden” post to see how I changed it from a drab gray bird bath into a fairy garden.
I emptied it all out, cleaned it up and got it ready for its fall makeover.
I added new craft moss to give it a fresh look and decided to use fewer rocks this time. I found all of the new fall fairy pieces at Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts. I loved that they were 40% off. The pumpkin cottage is the focal point.
A cute Happy Fall sign welcomes fall. It’s placed in a tiny terracotta pot along with some vase filler beads and a little bit of faux grass.
I kept the little gnome, a frog, and turtle, adding one of the new fairies nearby. I love the stool with pumpkins that I found for her to sit on.
The sleeping fairy is my favorite. Who doesn’t want to take a little nap in the autumn sun?
I filled the metal wheelbarrow with beads and placed it near the cottage and the third fall fairy.
I love how fun and whimsical this is for fall. I included the wishing well and the bridge that I have been using. They both fit in with the fall look.

Bird Bath Fairy Garden for Fall
It does collect water when it rains, but the top portion of the bird bath can easily be tipped to let the water spill out if the sun doesn’t try it up quickly enough. My husband plans on drilling a couple of small holes in the basin when I change the look again. I can’t wait to turn into into a Christmas Fairy Garden. I found adorable Christmas pieces for it during the after Christmas sale at Michaels last year. But until then, I’ll enjoy the Fall Fairy Garden for the next couple of months.
