I have a bunch of small glass candle holders left over from Gloria’s wedding two and a half years ago. I keep finding new uses for them. This time, I didn’t do a thing to them. We had wrapped a pretty piece of lace around them when using them for the wedding decor and that’s just how I left them. They are holding straight pins, pearl head pins, thumb tacks, rubber bands and push pins.
I had an old bulletin board that I’ve been meaning to donate, but I decided to use it for this closet project. I didn’t like the look of it though. That’s when the best item in my craft supply came in handy. Spray paint can change anything! I used gold paint and embellished one corner with some more rosettes. I painted the cork board not knowing if it would damage the cork. It didn’t.
It doesn’t take much to add little decorative touches to any space. These are all so simple, but when combined, I think they will give me the look I want in the closet. I’m looking forward to getting it all in place.

I love these! I am in need of organizing all of my crafts, I am too overwhelmed to start. They are hidden in a messy closet with a goal of getting to it eventually. I love all of the burlap you used on these.

Thank you, Emily! I was feeling the same way. I’m so happy that I took the plunge and got things organized last week. I can relate to the messy closet! That’s exactly what I had. Thanks so much for stopping by.

I love that it IS easy to add something simple to make it decorative. I really like how you wrapped the burlap. Those are so pretty. Thanks for linking up to Totally Terrific Tuesday last week. Our party is going LIVE tonight at 9pm CST. Hope you see you again!

Yes, usually I just have to look around a little bit and can find something to use. I think every crafter can do that! We all seem to have stashes of this and that around. Thanks!
