We’re excited to share with you today a guest post from Michele from Coastal Bohemian. Michele’s blog is filled with fun ideas to incorporate a coastal look for your home decor. She creates unique pieces that bring the coast to you and she shows you how to do it, too. She describes her blog as a “community for diy, decor, ideas, new & vintage gifts, furniture, fishing, nautical & all things that make your coastal life….living.” Doesn’t that sound like a great place to be?
You all know that I enjoy creating coastal decor pieces for my home. Michelle’s blog is a great place to find ideas to get the look. The Mosaic Starfish Table that she’s sharing is such a lovely piece. I hope you’ll stop by Coastal Bohemian to learn how to make one.
~Mosaic Starfish Table ~ Guest Post from Coastal Bohemian~
Thank you to Beverly from Across the Boulevard for having me as a guest blogger today. I’ve been following Beverly for some time and admire her creativity and I’m often inspired by her blog posts, so you can imagine this is a thrill and a treat.
I’m Michele Michael and this is Coastal Bohemian, a blog created to encompass my love and need to be close to the shoreline. I’m a Crafter, a Cook, a DIYer, an Upcycler, a Furniture Painter (LIVE, LOVE, PAINT FURNITURE), Blogger and I own an arts and crafts studio in Myrtle Beach known as Coastal Bohemian.
Here’s a link to a post I did over 3 yrs ago when I first started blogging. It’s the piece that brought me back to myself after Hurricane Sandy demolished the first floor of our Long Island, NY home. I had stopped creating for a good 7-8 yrs at this point and was working in Commercial Real Estate. Interesting how I found myself amongst the debris. This piece was important to reconnecting with my creative self and to everything that has happened since. Needless to say, I never complain about Hurricane Sandy, she was in fact, my gift.
I hope my little post helps inspire creativity and reminds you to stay connected to that magical, artistic you.
Have a look at how Michele put her Mosaic Starfish Table together. Be sure to let her know you’re visiting from Across the Boulevard!
